MBA for Global Entrepreneurs
The Global Entrepreneurial MBA (GEMBA) program, offered jointly by UDM and Fu Jen Catholic University of Taiwan, began in 2004 and has been very successful attracting some of Taiwan's top students including several CEO's, high-level government officials and directors.
The GEMBA program is cohort-based with students taking courses at both Fu Jen Catholic University and at the University of Detroit Mercy. Courses are taught by Business Administration faculty from the two institutions. Students that participate in the GEMBA program receive degrees from both the University of Detroit Mercy and Fu Jen Catholic University.
The Taiwanese students also enjoy the opportunity of interacting with their American counterparts and experiencing local cultural events like attending a Detroit Economic Club meeting, visiting the Henry Ford Museum in Dearborn, a Detroit Pistons game at the Palace of Auburn Hills, and celebrating the Chinese New Year at a local restaurant.
