BTM Program Structure
The BTM program is structured into Required and Elective courses. All BTM Program students are required to take BTM 500: Introduction to Turnaround and BTM 550: Ethics of Turnaround. In addition, students pursuing the MS in BTM are required to take BTM 596: Practicum or BTM 599: Thesis. In addition to the BTM courses, students may be able to apply select MBA courses in Accounting and Finance with the approval of the Director of Graduate Programs.
Students applying to the program are expected to demonstrate a minimum competence in accounting and financial management in order to enter the degree and/or certificate programs. Competence may be demonstrated by evidence in their transcript of appropriate course work, by successfully completing one or both pre-requisite courses (ACC 510 and MBA 518), as appropriate, or by substituting courses with the approval of the student's academic advisor. Credit for these courses does not count towards program requirements.
