Jacques Boettcher, MA, JD

Associate Professor of Management and Finance,

Professor Boettcher teaches law and real estate finance. His area of interest is foreign trade law, and his research is in the comparative law of the Pacific Rim countries, especially China and Japan. Boettcher's professional presentations deal with the legal and financial perils for American companies investing in the emerging third world areas and in forming partnerships and joint ventures with emerging countries.

A practicing attorney, he is a member of the State Bar of Michigan. Boettcher earned his Ph.B., M.A. and J.D. degrees from the University of Detroit. He joined the University in 1954.
