Oswald Mascarenhas, S.J.
Professor of Marketing (Retired)
Professor Mascarehas taught marketing strategy, new product development and global marketing strategies. His research deals with ethics of domestic and global marketing strategies, internet marketing and consumer/computer privacy. He has published in the Journal of Marketing,Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science, Journal of Health Care Marketing, Journal of Consumer Affairs.
He holds degrees in economics, philosphy, and theology, as well as an M.B.A. and Ph.D. from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. Fr. Mascarenhas joined the University in 1983. At the request of the Society of Jesus, Fr. Mascarenhas took a leave of absence from UDM in 2010 to oversee the establishment of graduate programs at St. Aloysius College in India.
